
D.A. Lockhart is the author of the author of nine books. His books has been short-listed for the Raymond Souster Award, Indiana Authors Award, Robert Kroetsch Award, and the ReLit Award for Short Fiction. He is a graduate of the Indiana University – Bloomington MFA in Creative Writing program where he held a Neal-Marshall Graduate Fellowship in Creative Writing. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in the Malahat Review, The Journal, Grain, the McNeese Review, Windsor Review, Pamplemouse, Contemporary Verse 2, Mackinac, Minor Literature[s], Straylight Literary Magazine, and Vinyl Poetry and Prose among others. He is recipient of Canada Council for the Arts grants and Ontario Arts Council grants for both his poetry and his fiction. He holds degrees from Trent University, Montana State University, and Indiana University. He is the poetry editor at the Windsor Review and is the publisher at Urban Farmhouse Press based out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He is a member of the Moravian of the Thames First Nation.
