Cary Fagan was born in Toronto in 1957. While he has devoted himself to writing fiction in recent years, he has also published works of history and literary journalism. He has written for many publications including, The Globe and Mail and Books in Canada. He teaches creative writing at the Toronto Writing Workshop.
