Trevor Ferguson was born in Ontario and raised in Montreal. After travelling hither and yon, he settled back in Montreal to write novels. He served as Chair of The Writers' Union of Canada in 1990-91. His novel, The Timekeeper, became a motion picture. In addition to his sixteen novels, he has had four plays produced, including Off Broadway. He has been published around the world in more than seventeen countries. He currently lives in Victoria, BC.
