Taylor is a writer, theatre artist, and educator living in Cambridge, Ontario. In her writing, she enjoys digging into difficult subjects using humour, developing complex characters, and balancing complicated relationships. Her projects often ask decolonial and feminist questions about what it means to be rural and/or Canadian.

Taylor studied theatre at York University and has an MFA in creative writing from the University of Guelph. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the School of English and Theatre Studies at the University of Guelph and teaches as a sessional professor at various universities.
