Jade Wallace’s poetry, fiction, and essays have been published internationally, including in This Magazine, Canadian Literature, and Hermine. Their writing has received support from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, the City of Windsor's Arts, Culture & Heritage Fund, and the Windsor Endowment for the Arts. Wallace's work has won the Muriel’s Journey Poetry Prize, Coastal Shelf‘s ‘Funny & Poignant’ Poetry Contest, and the Anita and Alistair MacLeod Prize, has been a finalist for the Wergle Flomp Humour Poetry Contest and the Writers of the Future Contest, and has been nominated for The Journey Prize. Wallace's thesis for their M.A. in Creative Writing, a novel called Anomia, won the Governor General's Gold Medal in 2022.
Wallace is the author and co-author of several chapbooks, including A Trip to the ZZOO (Collusion Books), which was short-listed for the 2021 bpNichol Chapbook Award. A Trip to the ZZOO was written by MA|DE, a collaborative writing entity Wallace founded with Mark Laliberte in 2018. MA|DE's fourth chapbook is Expression Follows Grim Harmony (Jackpine Press, 2023), and their debut full-length collection ZZOO is forthcoming from Palimpsest Press.
Wallace's debut solo full-length poetry collection, Love Is A Place But You Cannot Live There, was published by Guernica Editions in 2023. Wallace currently serves as the Reviews Editor for CAROUSEL, an organizing member of Draft Reading Series, and a board member for Literary Arts Windsor.

Whether you're new to collaborative writing, or a seasoned co-creator, this workshop will make you think more deeply about the possibilities of the field.
