Annette Lapointe (she/her) is originally from Saskatchewan, and now lives in Treaty 8 territory in northern Alberta, where she teaches at Northwestern Polytechnic. She is the author of four acclaimed books of fiction: Stolen (2006, nominated for the Giller Prize), Whitetail Shooting Gallery (2012), You Are Not Needed Now (2017), and . . . And This is the Cure (2020). Her latest book is a poetry collection titled swim into the north’s blue eye.
