Colin Brezicki
A graduate of Western and Oxford University, I spent my career teaching and directing in England and Canada.
I turned to writing when I retired in 2012. I've published two novels, “A Case for Dr. Palindrome”, and “All That Remains”(recently a finalist in the Tucson Book Festival). My short fiction includes winners of the J.K. Galbraith Fiction Award, the Literal Latté (New York) fiction contest, Bosque fiction contest (New Mexico), Canadian Authors’ Ten Stories High, and a finalist in the Writers Union of Canada fiction contest. I've published in academic and literary journals and the “Globe and Mail,” and I'm a regular Column Six contributor to the “Voice of Pelham.”
I love music, art, reading, writing and cycling. Hobby horses include literacy in a tech-driven world.
My daughter, Catherine, manages Book City in Bloor West Village and tells me what books I must read to age wisely. I'm not sure they're working.
