The UBC School of Creative Writing invites applications for Adjunct Professor(s) to teach Writing for Television and/or Intermediate Writing for the Stage and Radio, beginning September 1, 2021. The qualified applicant(s) will teach CRWR 307 (3 credits) and/or CRWR 316 (3 credits) in Term 1.
- MFA preferred, but a combination of a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with appropriate writing, publication, and production experience is acceptable
- Demonstrated excellence in writing for television and/or writing for the stage
- Creative writing teaching experience at the postsecondary level
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses, large lectures, and working with teaching assistants is desirable.

This position is subject to final budgetary approval. Salary is $8,000 per 3.0 credit course. The position is not eligible for pension and benefits except for statutory benefits (Canada Pension Plan, Employment Insurance and Worker’s Compensation Board).
