Adelle Purdham is a writer, speaker and parent disability advocate. She holds a French literature degree from Western University and is a certified teacher. She earned her graduate certificate from Humber College’s Creative Writing by Correspondence Program where she had the pleasure of working with M.G. Vassanji on her memoir, Here We Are, Happy (in progress). She is currently completing her MFA specializing in creative nonfiction writing through The University of King's College and writing her second book, I Don't Do Disability and Other Lies I've Told Myself, a collection of essays through memoir. Adelle is the founder of The Write Retreat, facilitating wellness, workshops, time and space for women writers to create.
