2022 Debut novel currently with publisher 2021 Nonfiction piece, “The Southsiders,” published in UBC COVID anthology 2020 Feature-length screenplay, "Irish Goodbye," completed and pitched 2018 Short Fiction published in NQ: “Young Americans” 2018 Nonfiction piece in Breakwater anthology “Best Kind” 2015 Residency at “Writing Home,” master class at the Banff Arts Centre 2013 Winner of the Writer’s Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Fresh Fish Award (for an unpublished manuscript of short fiction) 2012 Residency at Banff writing studio, working with Shyam Salvaduri 2009 Shortlisted (10 out of 1400 entries) for the CBC Literary Awards 2004 First Place Winner, short fiction, Newfoundland and Labrador Arts and Letters Competition (“Purity Sweets”), also a winner for poetry(2001) 2003 Two poems published in Backyards of Heaven: An Anthology of Contemporary Poetry from Ireland and Newfoundland & Labrador, ed. Stephanie McKenzie (Scop) Multiple short fiction stories in NL Quarterly magazine and NQ online. I've also written several short films, been a Production Assistant, and have taken intro filmmaking courses. |
