Halls Island Artist Residency invites applications from artists of all kinds for a unique, off-grid Haliburton County escape. Songwriters, playwrights, actors, authors, musicians, poets, painters and multi-media artists have enjoyed the solitude and rustic beauty the island offers. Free accommodation, boat transportation, solar power and absolutely no WiFi for 10 - 12 days summer 2022. Thanks to a TD Ready Challenge grant all artists will receive a $200 stipend and Indigenous artists are invited to apply for this year's $2,000 Indigenous Artist Scholarship.
