Lesley Krueger is an award-winning writer who has published novels, non-fiction and short stories as well as working as a filmmaker. Her sixth novel, Far Creek Road, will be published in the fall of 2023 by ECW Press in both Canada and the U.S. Her previous novel, Time Squared, was published in 2021, and was named one of the year's best books by The 49th Shelf. Her fourth novel, Mad Richard, was published in 2017. Lesley has written three other novels: The Corner Garden (2003), Drink the Sky (1999) and Poor Player (1993). She is also the author of a sports book, Contender (2013), a travel memoir, Foreign Correspondences (2000), and two collections of short stories, Hard Travel (1989) and The Necessary Havoc of Love (2022). Lesley's two earliest books, Hard Travel and Poor Player, were republished as e-books in 2021. As well, she has worked on sixteen produced films in the past eighteen years as a writer and story editor.
