ABOUT THE WRITER MIHAELA CD
Mihaela CD was born in Romania. She emigrated to Canada many years ago with her family and settled in Montreal.She always loved poetry, painting and music but she really started writing poetry books after a strong shock, when she lost her beloved father. The verses came alone, asking to be written. A divine gift, a response of the universe that seems to apply a law of compensation: He takes something from you and gives you back something!
An artist's soul!
The writer Mihaela CD has an excellent soul of an artist, she breathes and lives through literature and art. She has a rich literary and journalistic activity, writing poetry, prose, articles, chronicles, aphorisms, poems for children, publishing in numerous magazines, literary platforms and cultural groups. She is the author of 17 personal author books as follows: 2 books of essays and literary chronicles in Romanian, 9 books of poetry in Romanian (two of them are dialogues with another poet), 2 books of poems in English, 3 books of bilingual Romanian-English aphorisms and a novel in Romanian. Published in over 50 collective volumes / anthologies. She collaborates with writers, painters, musicians and artists having 12 songs composed on her lines, for 6 of them she also composes the melodic line. She loves to paint both traditional painting and digital painting making several collections of her own works. Her artworks are present as ART DESIGN prints in several collections of wearable fashion-art (clothing) and in numerous collections of small furniture, interior design and miscellaneous items. It has a rich cultural activity participating in the organization of artistic events, supporting literature, art and music alike. Being a tireless promoter of literature, art and culture in the world, she receives in 2020 from the World Literature Academy the "Trophy for the promotion of literature at a global level" and in 2022 in Sinaia she receives the title and diploma of "EUROPEAN CULTURAL AMBASSADOR"

She is the founder of the online magazine: "Poems for my soul", (Poezii pentru sufletul meu), an art, literature and culture magazine for romanians around the word. She founded the magazine on October 30, 2018 in Montreal, with the help of her husband who is the magazine's senior editor. She collaborates with countless authors, artists, painters and musicians, the virtual magazine being read online in over 100 countries around the world. One year after the founding of the virtual magazine, is published in Montreal the first number of the printed magazine ''Poems for my soul'' (Poezii pentru sufletul meu) The official launch took place on January 25, 2020 in Montreal duringTHE ARTS' GALA event, (the first edition)
